Nordic Kayaks (NK) Breeze The Breeze is the rugged, "worry-free" entry point of the NK lineup. Unlike the composite (fiberglass/carbon) models, this surfski is made of polyethylene (PE), making it nearly indestructible and the top choice for rental centers, clubs, and families. Core Identity The "Indestructible" Skie: Its polyethylene construction means it can handle being dragged onto rocky beaches or bumped against docks without the risk of cracking or chipping. Family & Fitness: Designed to be easily handled by anyone, even those with zero previous experience. It is as much a fitness tool as it is a fun beach toy for the whole family. Touring Ready: Unlike many other models where hatches are optional, the Breeze comes with a standard watertight rear hatch, making it ready for long-distance touring and day trips right out of the box. Unique Features & Design Dual Storage: In addition to the large rear loading hatch, it features a unique small loading hatch inside the cockpit for quick access to essentials (sunscreen, snacks, or a phone) while on the water. Stability: Engineered for maximum approachability, ensuring a "dry and stable" experience for beginners. Standard Equipment Despite its plastic construction, the Breeze is outfitted with the same premium carbon hardware as the elite racing models: Cockpit: Carbon fiber footrest (self-adjusting lines), NK foot strap, and the integrated bike-bottle holder (bottle included). Technical Gear: Features the industry-standard deBrito self-bailer and a Race rudder for professional-level steering response. Transport: Includes carbon side handles and front/rear carry handles, making it much easier to move on land than a typical heavy plastic kayak.
