After an earlier misunderstanding of race rules cost her a potential victory, McKenzie triumphed over Smith in a sprint finish during the third event of the Shaw and Partners WA Race Week. This win was particularly significant as it marked her first victory since transitioning to Epic skis and broke a four-race streak of finishing second to Smith. Following that Thursday win, McKenzie confessed to feeling a sense of relief. She characterized the Sunset Series race as another demanding contest, concluding with a beach sprint....
