Scugnizzo Run 2021 Ocean Racing

This 9-mile regatta across the Gulf of Naples traces millennia of history and coastal scenery. Starting from the Greek acropolis of Pozzuoli, the route passes industrial landmarks at Bagnoli, volcanic Nisida, and the protected waters of Gaiola. Racers then sail past Posillipo and Mergellina before reaching the historic birthplace of Naples at Castel dell'Ovo, crossing the finish line in the old fishing village of Santa Lucia.
