Vaikobi and ICF Partner for 2026 Canoe Ocean Racing World Series

The International Canoe Federation (ICF) is pleased to announce a significant partnership with Vaikobi, a leading manufacturer of high-performance paddling apparel and safety gear. This collaboration aims to bolster the growth of Canoe Ocean Racing and enhance the delivery of the 2026 ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Series.

Extensive Support for the Series

As Canoe Ocean Racing expands globally, Vaikobi is committed to supporting all stages of the series, including the World Championships. Their comprehensive involvement includes:

• Event Staff Apparel: Providing specialized clothing for all organizers, Host Organising Committee (HOC) members, and volunteers at every World Cup, from Madeira to La Reunion.
• Medalist Prizes: Awarding a Vaikobi prize pack of high-quality, practical on-water equipment to every medalist across all four World Cups.
• Development Camp Equipment: Fully equipping every athlete participating in the development camp at the World Championships in La Vila Joiosa, Spain, with a complete safety kit (including personal flotation devices, leashes, technical clothing, drinking bladders, and waterproof phone cases) at no cost.

Fostering Global Participation and Talent

The La Vila Joiosa development program is crucial to the ICF’s women’s development strategy and its mission to expand Canoe Ocean Racing in emerging nations. By equipping 15 promising paddlers from various regions free of charge, Vaikobi directly removes financial barriers that could hinder talented athletes from competing at the highest level.
