Tactical Mastery Shown by Maltese Team at Sicily’s Naxos Cup

The Surfski Shack sent a large delegation to the Naxos Cup in Sicily, competing against top Italian talent. The race was converted to a tactical 14km 'A to B' course due to heavy weather. Matthew Schembri placed 5th in the Senior Men’s category, while 12-year-old Luigi Aquilina impressed with a 3rd-place finish in the children's event. The team secured several international category wins, demonstrating the growing strength of Maltese surfski paddling.
