Ocean Racing training camp in Orbetello for junior and U23 athletes

A five-day training camp for Ocean Racing athletes concluded recently in Orbetello, Grosseto, running from April 2nd to 6th. This intensive session brought together ten promising junior and U23 paddlers, all focused on honing their skills and preparing for the demanding 2026 national and international competitive season. The camp was expertly overseen by Coaching Coordinator Giovanni Saperdi.

The 2026 Ocean Racing Season Ahead

The 2026 Ocean Racing calendar promises an exciting spring and autumn. The traditional Naxos Cup is scheduled to take place in Giardini Naxos from May 14th to 17th, an event that will be closely followed by the Italian Championships for the discipline. International competitions will see the European Championships held in Brest, France, towards the end of August. Later in the year, the World Championships are set to challenge athletes in Villa Jolosa, Spain, from October 9th to 11th.
