I primarily compete in kayak sprint within a federal training structure, also pursuing surfski during academic breaks. Balancing this high-level athletic career with demanding studies in physics and materials engineering creates a full, structured schedule. My paddling began in Chile (flatwater), then in France (Cherbourg) I embraced surfski. Transitioning to Olympic sprint for structured training, a supportive coach helped me develop both disciplines, leading to my inclusion in the U23 federal training program, where this blend of club, federal, and ocean paddling continues to shape my growth.
Significant experiences include navigating challenging conditions in Madeira and competing against athletes like Hank McGregor. My offseason is intensely busy, balancing university, training, and studies. Early sprint races, particularly winning European junior titles in the K1 1000m, were pivotal, validating my potential and building international confidence. Consistent progression, evident in races like Durban and enhanced by summer training in South Africa, has significantly boosted my capabilities.
My equipment includes a Nelo 640 surfski and a Braca XI paddle (720 cm² blade, softer shaft), offering sprint-kayak-like stability and efficiency crucial for versatile ocean racing. For 2026, my main goals are the Sprint European and World Championships. I then plan to return to the Surfski World Cup circuit and major ocean racing events (Brest, Alicante), balancing these with academic commitments.
