International Canoe Federation names venues for Paris 2024 Olympic qualifiers

Key Olympic Qualification Venues Confirmed

The ICF has designated Duisburg, Germany, and Lee Valley, Great Britain, as hosts for the pivotal 2023 World Championships, serving as crucial qualification opportunities for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

The ICF board in Beijing announced Duisburg would host the 2023 ICF Canoe Sprint and Paracanoe World Championships. Lee Valley, a London 2012 Olympic venue, will host the 2023 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships.

Host City History

• Lee Valley hosts its second Olympic qualifier after 2015.
• Duisburg hosts its fifth Olympic qualifier (pre-1980, 1988, 1996, 2008 Games).

• Miyi County, China: U23/junior slalom; senior, U23/junior wildwater.
