ICF Ocean Racing Development Camp in Madeira: Last Chance to Apply

National Federations are urged to submit applications for the International Canoe Federation (ICF) Canoe Ocean Racing development camp in Madeira, Portugal. The deadline for the Talent Identification Programme (TIP) has been extended to August 28, requiring prompt action.

About the Camp

This exclusive TIP camp runs from September 27 to October 7. Spaces are limited. It will take place concurrently with the ICF Canoe Ocean Racing World Championships at the same venue, offering participants an unparalleled experience. The ICF, with the Host Organising Committee, aims to foster growth and talent in ocean racing. Participants will also compete in the World Championships, held from October 4 to 6.

Application and Financial Details

Participants or their National Federations are responsible for international travel to Madeira. However, all other camp costs are fully covered by the ICF and Host Organising Committee, including:

• Accommodation
• Three meals daily
• Local transportation
• Boat rental
• Expert coaching

National Federations interested in enrolling candidates should forward applications to the ICF, including candidate name(s) and a detailed profile. The ICF Canoe Ocean Racing Committee and development team will select successful candidates after the deadline. Applicants must be competent surf ski paddlers.

A list of chosen participants will be announced 48 hours after the deadline. Applications should be sent via email to [email protected] and [email protected].
