ICF extends partnerships with major sponsors as 2025 season approaches

The International Canoe Federation (ICF) has proudly announced the extension of several significant commercial collaborations, solidifying its relationships with key industry brands in anticipation of the 2025 season. These renewed agreements are expected to foster continued mutual expansion and enhance visibility across the global paddle sports community.

Stuart Roach, the ICF's Global Director of Growth and Communications, emphasized that these renewed commitments from partners underscore a strong belief in the federation's strategic direction and its innovative 'Fit For Future Evolution' initiative. He noted, "The recent Paris 2024 Olympic Games clearly demonstrated our increasing influence within the sports sector. With the ongoing backing of our partners, we are highly optimistic about building upon this success as we embark on the next Olympic cycle. Our goal is to ensure that our partners and their compelling narratives resonate globally."

Key Partners Extending Their Support:

  • Gold-level boat manufacturers: Braca-sport, Dansprint, Nelo, and Plastex have all committed to new agreements.
  • Silver-level partners: Sport Camps, Prowave, and Jantex will continue their association until 2026.
  • Bronze-level partner: Hody also remains a valued supporter.

Andre Santos, Chief Executive of Nelo, expressed his company's enthusiasm for renewing its partnership with the ICF. "We consider ourselves an integral part of the canoeing family," Santos stated, "and our aim is to contribute not only financially but also through new initiatives that can make our sport more accessible, competitive, and enjoyable for everyone."
