Cagliari to host national Ocean Racing championships
Italian Ocean Racing Championships in Cagliari
This weekend, Cagliari is set to host the thrilling Italian Ocean Racing Championships on September 27 and 28. Competitors will vie for national titles across various divisions, including Senior, Junior, Master, and Under 23 categories.The event, held in the stunning gulf of the Sardinian capital, is organized by the Lega Navale Italiana - Sezione di Cagliari. Participants will race in specific double boat classes: Surfski double (SS2) and Outrigger double (OC2). A strong contingent of 39 athletes from 18 different clubs is expected, forming 23 crews and totaling 41 athlete-race entries.
