Carbonology Sport CRUZE X The CRUZE X is the undisputed "stability king" of the Carbonology Sport (CS) lineup. It is a classic entry-level surfski designed specifically to make the first steps into the sport as easy and stress-free as possible. Core Identity The Ultimate Beginner Platform: It is the most stable boat in the CS range. Its design focuses on removing the "balance anxiety" for newcomers, allowing them to focus on stroke technique and enjoying the water. Hull Design: Features a flat, wide hull (56 cm) with a shallow-V shape in the tail. This combination provides exceptional primary stability while ensuring the boat tracks straight and maneuvers well on waves. Practical Length: At 5.5 meters, it is shorter than elite racing skis, making it far easier to manage off the water, store in standard garages, and transport on a car roof. Performance & Ergonomics High-Volume Deck: The high-volume design helps the boat "pop" over white water and stay on top of the surface when paddling out through surf. Efficient Cockpit: Despite the wide hull, the footwell is kept narrow to allow for a more natural paddling stroke. It features a high "knee hump" to minimize the amount of water the cockpit can hold. Maneuverability: It has just enough rocker (hull curvature) to remain "lithe" and responsive under pedal steering, making it surprisingly fun for chasing bumps and small ocean runs. Standard Features The CRUZE X is outfitted with premium hardware typically found on faster racing models: Handling: Includes the famous CS cockpit carry handles (often called the best in the business) plus bow and stern handles for easy solo carrying. Technical Gear: Dual high-efficiency bullet scupper bailers with one-way valves and a fully adjustable carbon footplate. Storage: Standard setup includes front and rear deck bungy rigging and a juice bottle recess. Touring Version: A specialized version is available with large watertight storage compartments (70L rear) and optional fishing rod holders.
