Trofeo Lazio Wave

The Gara Regionale Ocean Racing scheduled for September 26, 2026, in Ostia is a regional competition organized by the Lega Navale Italiana (LNI) Sezione Lido di Ostia. This event is a staple for paddlers in the Lazio region and often serves as the "Trofeo Lazio Wave."

• The Course: * Long Distance: Typically a 15–19 km technical route. Depending on the wind, it often runs as a "downwind" between LNI Ostia and LNI Pomezia (Torvaianica).

  • Alternative: If sea conditions are calm or unfavorable for a downwind, a triangular or "stick" (bastone) course of approx. 12 km is set directly in front of the Ostia waterfront.
