Circolo Ilva Bagnoli

Founded in 1909 as a corporate social club for the Ilva steel plant workers, Circolo Ilva Bagnoli is a pillar of Neapolitan sports history. For over a century, it has been a powerhouse for rowing, tennis, and athletics. Despite the industrial decline and the eventual closure of the Bagnoli steelworks in the 1990s, the club successfully transformed from a factory-dependent facility into a vibrant, independent community hub, preserving the area's social and sporting identity.
